3/22/20 Update - Microsoft Teams update

As we move into the second week of our school closing, we are encouraged to see that everyone continues to follow the guidelines regarding social distancing and healthy habits.  We are all making changes to our everyday routines in response to this situation and will get through this together.

Free Wi-Fi wi-fi

Completely Free Wi-Fi (With No Installation):  The FCC's Keep Americans Connected pledge challenges ISPs and mobile carriers to not shut off service for 60 days due to nonpayment, and to open their local Wi-Fi hotspots to free access. A huge number of ISPs have signed on.

In order to do our part to encourage social distancing and prevent further spread of the disease, the district will close all buildings beginning Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 3.  Teachers and staff will continue working from home to stay in contact with our students and families, and to help answer questions you may have.

COVID-19 UPDATE - SCHOOL CLOSED closed

This message is for Burbank District 111 Families.  The health, safety, and well-being of our school community continues to be the highest priority at District 111.  We have, in consultation with our neighboring districts, made the decision to close school beginning Monday, March 16, continuing through the end of Spring Break on Friday, April 3.

St. Baldrick's Fundraiser Update baldrick logo

On Thursday March 12, Governor Pritzker requested that all non-essential events and activities at all Illinois schools be  cancelled through May 1. Unfortunately, this includes our St. Baldrick's event scheduled for March 18.  As of today, all your fundraising efforts have totaled approximately $22,000.00 and has been sent to St. Baldrick's Foundation.  Please visit the St. Baldrick's event webpage to see all your accomplishments in helping Kids With Cancer!  We really wish we could be there to see everyone GO BALD, but due to the social distancing directives we are not able to provide the public event.

Free Child Meals Continue During School Shutdown (includes spring break) seamless

Free breakfast and lunch meals (with milk) will be provided to ALL CHILDREN 0-18 years of age in our area under a “Grab and Go” program at all Burbank School District 111 K-6 school buildings.  Mondays – Fridays during the times listed on the schedule below. This program covers ALL students from all D111 schools as well as all parochial, private, and high schools in the area. There are no financial requirements to receive a meal; all children are eligible.
