There will be no meal pick up during the week of May 25 - 29.
Meal pick up will resume June 1 and continue through at least June 30 over summer break.
Free breakfast and lunch meals (with milk) will be provided to ALL CHILDREN 0-18 years of age in our area under a “Grab and Go” program at all Burbank School District 111 K-6 school buildings. Mondays – Fridays during the times listed on the schedule below. This program covers ALL students from all D111 schools as well as all parochial, private, and high schools in the area; no student ID cards required. Children do not need to be present for pick ups. There are no financial requirements to receive a meal; all children are eligible. Meals should be requested for only the children living in your own household and are limited to one pick up per day.

Heat & Serve Meals
In order to provide more variety, we will begin serving some heat & serve meals. These meals are offered precooked and served cold with the purpose of them being heated PRIOR to consuming. Please make sure to HEAT to a temperature of 165*F or higher. All hot foods must be held at a temperature of 135*F or higher.
STATE ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING FREE MEALS
We have some additional exciting information that will help families to access meals. The USDA today announced the launch of an online tool – the “Meals for Kids” Site Finder – to help families find meals for children while schools are closed during the coronavirus pandemic.
The “Meals for Kids” interactive map directs people to local sites where kids can get free meals. The map is available in both English and Spanish at www.fns.usda.gov/meals4kids.
Food Finder and Nutrislice have both developed solutions to increase nationwide access to these critical free meals. Food Finder will display USDA’s Meals for Kids locations on their web and mobile app, while Nutrislice is offering their mobile ordering and meal locator solutions for free to hundreds of schools nationwide.
The USDA National Hunger Hotline is also available for anyone seeking food assistance. The hotline, operated by Hunger Free America, can be reached Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET at 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479) or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (1-877-842-6273) (for Spanish).
